Russia launched a massive airstrike across Ukraine from about 8:40 p.m. to 3 a.m. that day, using massive numbers of suicide drones and missiles. The drone strikes on residential areas, including apartments in Kyiv, killed three people, including an 11-month-old baby and a 5-year-old child, and seriously injured several others.
Last night’s airstrikes were one of the most horrific attacks on Kyiv. The swarm of flying Shaheeds, the sound of Ukrainian air defenses’ machine guns trying to stop them, the explosions of the shots, the roar of the Shaheeds flying in to evade them, and the crash and explosions of the Shaheeds falling into houses.
This terrifying attack from the sky to the ground is something that everyone in Ukraine experiences every day. Last night’s airstrikes were among the most terrifying and horrifying I have ever experienced.
